OUR MISSION
To bring sustainable solutions to humans living with extreme disadvantages in an effort to empower them with tools, resources, information & vision requisite for development & an increased quality of life, while also teaching the correct principles of sustainable & comprehensive humanitarian work to aspiring philanthropists.
OUR VISION
We see a day, sooner than most would imagine, when the disadvantages and shortages that billions of our brothers and sisters face are alleviated do to proper education and access. SCHAP teammates will be involved with the proliferation of the information, technologies and principles that will result in this change. This change will be driven not by Governments or Large Organization, but by the combined passion, effort and commitment of the multitudes.

We have already seen the information and vision that we have helped to bring to West Kadem has organically spread to other areas motivating leaders in neighboring communities to duplicate our initiatives. In working with local leaders we have been able to set up plans for development that are in accord with their economic and cultural needs and wants. To date, our projects have been focused in one area of western Kenya: West Kadem.
We are anxious to be able to bring CRCDP’s (comprehensive rural community development projects) to many communities in many different areas of the world. There are millions of people living with disadvantages that can realistically be eliminated to simple CRCDP’s. We believe strongly that in order to create a sustainable solution one must encourage and support the local leaders in the execution of various different initiatives so that the synergistic effect and impact can inspire sufficient belief in community members that there are things that are within their capacities that can begin to bring them up to speed with the global community. The greatest disease in the world is apathy and the antidote is vision. The most important thing that you can ever do is help create contexts that naturally give people personal permission to hope for a better future.
SCHAP is also anxiously engaged in the task of recruiting and developing aspiring philanthropists who crave to learn the skills and methods of successful development initiative implementation. These passionate SCHAP teammates will take that which they learn from their experience with SCHAP both to improve and develop our organization, but also to raise the level success in the other capacities they find themselves in for the rest of their lives.
Our ultimate objective is to bring the information and methods of enlightened development assistance to the living rooms of millions of Americans, motivating them to get involved in global development in a meaningful way and in many cases influence individuals to shape courses of education and employment in such a way that they can have a greater impact as a global citizen.
